Gaming Heads Skyrim Dragonborn Statue Review

All the epicness in one statue.

I recently received the Gaming Heads Skyrim Dragonborn Statue I ordered back in March.  Check it out:

The box already holds so much power!  It’s so beautiful!

And look, it’s exclusive edition too!  It’s only limited to 500 pieces worldwide, and I got one!

Oh man!  It would be so much better if this is #200!  Well, at least it’s not 199, or worse, 197!  I hate prime numbers…

Here are more box arts:

And you know this is a great piece when the Styrofoam inside the box looks like this:

Is… Is that?

20131115_143701

Yep, the Styrofoam have words and logo craved on it.  Only great yos have words craved on the Styrofoam.

The statue also comes with a validation card to prove the authenticity of the product.  I don’t know how important is the serial number on it, so I’m going to cover it.

However, what’s inside the box is a little, just a little, disappointing.

Someone broke my statue already!

I was expecting the product will come in one piece, and not something I have to put together.  Oh well.

This is the base, and you can see the little switch there.  Can’t wait to show what that do.

Looks kind of creepy like this

I don’t know if you can tell, but the furs on Dragonborn’s armor are real.  It brings a realism to the statue.

This is it!  The specialty of the exclusive edition comes with the fireball where it going to light up with the switch we saw earlier!  Can’t wait to finish it up!

The statue also comes with a spare left hand to replace the fireball.  But I don’t see why would anyone do that!

The statue also comes with two separate heads.  One with head armor, and one without.  Again, I don’t know why would anyone choose the one without the head armor.

Almost there!

The right hand has Dragonborn holding a Steel Sword.  The gauntlet is very detailed, and the sword seems sharp.

Ta-da!

Ta-da!

Oh wait…

What the hell is this?

It turns out the statue also comes with a dragon tail that wraps around the base.

Now we’re really done.  Let’s look around the statue.

The bottom of the statue.  A lot of written and logos on it.  You can also see my product number here.  This is also where I put the batteries into it.

Now some glam shots:

The fireball is really, really beautiful

The statue is really great!  The details, coloring, realism…etc.  The statue is heavy, and it looks great as a decoration piece.  The fireball looks great lights up, and it’s everything you ask for in a statue.

The only down part is that the statue is not made in one piece.  Or maybe I’m just asking too much.

9.8/10
