The Good Kind of Geek’s Top 10 Games of 2013

It’s our turn to make a list.

2013 is a great year for video games.  New generation of consoles, great new games, and great new additions to already existing franchises.  Good Kind of Geek have our top 10 video games here from #10 to #1.  It doesn’t matter what score each game received, what matter is how good they’re next to each others.

From #10…

10. State of Decay:

A zombie world where you get to do anything you want?  What more can you ask for?

9. Injustice: Gods Among Us:

8. Gone Home:

We don’t have a review for this game, but damn it we should!  I never cry for a game so hard since… ever.

7. Animal Crossing: New Leaf:

The newest installment of Animal Crossing game is also the first game that received a 10/10 on our site.  Go check it out, the game is super addicting.

The Legend of Zelda: A link Between Worlds Review

5. Grand Theft Auto V:

The game allows you to explore the city of Los Santos as freely as possible.  Not to mention wonderful stories and characters that land this highly anticipated title #5 on our list.

Grand Theft Auto V Review

4. BioShock Infinite:

The newest installment of BioShock franchise introduces us to some really crazy ideas.  This makes me question some of the decisions I made…

Again, no review for this game.  We have some lazy writers problem.

3. Pokemon X & Y:

The newest Pokemon game introduces a lot of new elements to the franchise.  It’s definitely the best generation ever, and there’re many secrets yet to be discovered.

Pokemon X & Y Review

2. Tomb Raider:

The re-image of Tomb Raider is definitely a great game.  The game came out early this year and many forgot about the game, but not me.  Lara will always have a place in my heart.

Tomb Raider Review

1. The Last of Us:

Two people traveling across a post-apocalyptic world trying to find an antidote for the disease.  At the end, they found each others in this heart-warming tale.  Great game, great story and great characters.  The Last of Us deserves the spot for our #1 game of 2013.
