We gather our ten favorite pranks from April Fool’s Day 2014.
1. Google Maps: Pokemon Challenge:
The Google Maps app for iOS and Android now has a Pokeball logo beneath the search bar. Clicking it, and it will show you the locations of Pokemon on Google Maps. It might be a prank and all, but it’s really, really sophisticated. You can capture the Pokemon simply by tapping it, and you can check what Pokemon you captured by looking through the Pokedex.
2. Awesome Photobombs:
Another prank from Google. This feature will have your pictures photobombed by David Hasselhoff himself. Check out Google’s blog for more information.
3. Daryl Coming to Comic Series:
Ha ha, we get it. Fans really want Daryl Dixon to be in the comic series, so here’s a prank of him joining the comic series. We all know that’s actually Dwight redrawn. Right? Right?
4. Nester Joins Super Smash Bros.:
It’s been a while since we last heard any Super Smash Bros. story, and by this time we will take anything. A fake Super Smash Bros. webpage revealed that Nester from Nintendo Powers magazine will be a fighter in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS.
5. Domino’s EdiBox:
This is just too unfair and too delicious. Domino’s UK site debuted the EdiBox, a pizza box made out of pizza crusts to help reducing waste. Check out more at the Domino’s Blog.
6. Anything Half-Life 3:
What’s April Fools Day without Half-Life prank? Webhallen.com listed a Half-Life 3 Xbox One Bundle for about $700.
7. ThinkGeek: Interactive Portal Shirt:
ThinkGeek announced they’re releasing shirts that would simulate portal teleportation as seen in Portal video game series.
The shirt will come with LCD display and two wireless video camera. So whatever is in front of the blue shirt and be seen in orange shirt’s’s portal vice versa.

8. Kindle Paperscent:
Stuff.tv reports that Amazon is offering a new accessory of Kindle Paper white with chemical dispensers desinged to emulate the smell of a real book.
9. Square Enix: Thief Goes 16-Bit:
Square Enix features a 16-bit version of Thief. It looks just like the old school Final Fantasy games, and the only option for the characters are steal or run away. You can steal items such as PS3, Xbox 360 and classic Final Fantasy items such as pendants, potions and more.

10. Netflix Chicken and Bacon:
This is another delicious one. Netflix added two new titles for their members: Rotisserie Chicken and Sizzling Bacon. The films are exactly like the title suggested: close-up on sizzling bacon and roasting chicken.
This is really, really delicious. Now I’m going take my early lunch break.
